Holiday Fav's

We have been so busy with the holidays. Here are a few of our favorite happenings to date:

Each kid received a handwritten letter from Santa in the mail. They were incredibly excited Santa took the time to write each of them and let them know he will soon be on the way!

The stockings are always a big hit. It seems from year to year we forget who gets which stocking. Chapel's, however, is always the princess (on the far left) and Brett's is always Santa. The rest of us just try to remember which stocking was ours last year!

For each day in December we count down the days to Christmas using our Advent Calendar. The kids taking turns opening the little doors and finding the presents mom and dad have put inside. Favorites include the dice game, silly bands and candy treats.

And of course they all love the tree - especially now that is has presents underneath. Our tree was up for a week before I had a chance to wrap any gifts and these kids were not happy. Now that they are under the tree, I am constantly asking Conor and Jude to not tear off the ribbons and nametags - with them all the wrapped the same I expect to have trouble Christmas morning remembering what is in the box.
