Each kiddo took time to pick out ornaments one by one to hang on the tree and with a little help from mom, found the perfect place for each and every ornament. I must admit, putting up a (real) tree is a whole lotta work, but it so rewarding to have your home smell and look like Christmas.
Miss Chapel, following closely in her mama's footsteps, picked all the GONE WITH THE WIND ornaments to hang. Since a young girl, I have loved all things Scarlett O'Hara. Imagine my love affair when Hallmark started producing a Scarlett ornament once a year. These ornaments make me happy, and pay homage to my obsession as a tween. Forget Miley Cyrus, Scarlett O'Hara was the original southerner to be reckoned with. Do you think GWTW is too mature for a six year old??? I can't wait to watch it with my little girl!

"Heaven help the man who ever really loves you," Rhett Butler mocks as he proposes to the newly widowed Katie Scarlett O'Hara Hamilton Kennedy.
The final scene when Rhett leaves and says his famous line. And, yes, press a button on this ornament and you can hear him say it!
