Life's A Beach

At Folly, life is a beach. And this past weekend - we did not leave. When you live on a small island with a one-lane road in and out, it is impossible to go anywhere on the 4th of July weekend. So we stayed home and enjoyed all the benefits our life here has to offer in our little beach town.

We ate at Crosby's and had fresh shrimp and enjoyed the awesome views.

We dressed in red, white and blue and had a parade (while waiting on PaPa Ed and MaMa Anne to arrive).

We went to the beach and watched the fireworks at dusk.
Took all the kiddos to the playground and did A LOT of people watching on the walk. The beach was crazy!

And we even had an overnight guest, Uncle Robert, who stayed two nights on his annual 4th of July beach vacation at Folly. Here he is enjoying the outdoor patio at Woody's pizza on Center St.

What an awesome weekend to not leave, not even crank up the car and just enjoy walking around the beach enjoying all it has to offer!
