I have been a member of the Folly Beach Exchange Club for about 7 years. This year my husband is the President and Robert is the secretary. The mission of Exchange is to raise awareness and, through public service, help prevent child abuse. We have met many great residents of the island through Exchange and the club is a great way to actively participate in our community. As one of our fundraisers this year we decided to host a "Haunted Hut". The hut is our little meeting space here on the island - and by little I mean a tiny cinder block building. We geared this activity towards children 12 and under, sold tickets for $5 per family, and sold concessions. The event took place on 3 different nights and finally on the last night I took some pictures. Robert did a great job decorating and transforming the space, he worked diligently for weeks on end, even building the coffins!

Scary, scary! (But not too scary because it was designed with kids as the target audience.) My kids ran through the haunted hut about 10,000 times. They absolutely loved it - especially the dancing ghost.
Robert selling the hotdogs. Eli talking to Jim Laurey and I am sure trying to convince someone to give him chips and Sprite.
Chapel and Eli decided to dress differently each night we went. On this night Eli was a robot and Chapel a dancer. The babies looked cute with their matching Zutano monkey prints.
